Preserving food is something that we can do all year long to help reduce our food budgets. By using up all that we purchase and prepare, and by taking advantage of food sales and storing food properly, we can save hundreds of dollars each year.
Freezing food is both a simple and safe way to preserve. Making sure your dry goods and pantry items are stored correctly can give them extra shelf life. Food Preservation takes some organization and an investment of time and money when you first start up.
